Billie-Jo R. Swartz , 54, of Palmerton, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Willkes-Barre.  Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Dorothy E. (Bonser) Swartz.

She worked as a caseworker for Headstart and volunteered for the Blue Mountain Animal Shelter.

Survivors: Son, Steven R. Swartz.  Fiance Danny Leslie. Stepdaughters, Megan Runkles, and Tonya Leslie.  Stepson, Danny Leslie, Jr.  Brothers, William A. Swartz and wife Sarah of Lehighton, Jeff Wertman and wife Ruthie, and Will Swartz.  Sisters, Kelly Bobst, Karen wife of Raymond Klotz, Cindy Schleicher, MaryAnn Hueghes, Debra wife of Kris Kunkle, and Deb wife of Robert Kintz.  Aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  Faithful dogs, Lizzy, and Luna.
