Bonnie L. Halada

Bonnie L. (Strohl) Halada , 68, of 57 Drive, Kunkletown, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, PA, died peacefully Saturday morning, December 28, 2024, in her home.  She was the wife of the late John A. Halada, Jr., who passed in 2017.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Willard C., Sr. and Gloria (Heiney) Strohl.

Bonnie was employed as a bakery manager at Walmart, Valparaiso, IN, while residing in Indiana with her late husband.  Previously, she worked as a nurse's aide for the Brookmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Effort.  A 1974 graduate of the Lehighton High School, she enjoyed attending bingo at both Towamensing Township Volunteer Fire Company, Trachsville, and the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company, Lehighton.

Survivors: Daughter, Sharon Haupt of Bethlehem.  Son, John A. Halada, III, of Kunkletown.  4 grandchildren, Johnny A. Halada, IV and wife Lauren, Alyssa, Maggie, and Ryan.  3 great-grandchildren, Kendra, Kelsey, and Johnny A., V.  1 Aunt, 1 Uncle.  Several Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Donna, Brenda, and Sharon, and brother, Willard C., Jr.
