Brenda M. Kern

Brenda M. (Harvey) Kern , 46, of  PA Route 873, Slatington, Washington Township, died suddenly early Tuesday morning after being stricken at home, July 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Scott B. Kern since May 7, 2022. Born in Langhorne, Bucks County, she was a daughter of L. Keith and Sharon A. (Crotto) Harvey.

Brenda was employed in the commercial sales department of Equipto Corp., Tatamy. She attended the Slatington Baptist Church and was a 1994 graduate of the Northern Lehigh High School. Following graduation, Brenda served in the Marine Corps, 1994-1998 Stateside, and achieved the rank of Cpl E-4. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan, and enjoyed caring for her cats.

Survivors : Husband. Parents. Children, Logan K. Harvey at home, Samantha M. Kern of Lehighton, and Aaron S. Kern of Slatington. Sisters, Gina wife of Randy Morris of Alburtis, Sandra Seneca of Coral Springs, FL, and Amanda wife of Drew Mervin of Kennett Square. Brothers, Keith and wife Natalie of Walnutport, and David and wife Lisa of Levittown. Several nieces and nephews.

Services : 11:00AM Tuesday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 7:00-8:30PM Monday and 10:00-11:00AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
