Brenda I. Kohler

Brenda I. Kohler, 80 of Northampton, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 3, 2021, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born November 17, 1940 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth C. Williams and the late Irene R. (Frantz) Williams. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Kohler who passed away in January 2003.

Brenda was a 1958 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School, who worked as a food server for the Northampton Memorial Community Center for 41 years before retiring in 2017. Brenda was a life long member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church Northampton, where she was an Elder, former Consistory member, and President of the Women's Association. Brenda was a community committed individual who was very active with the former Laurel Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Whitehall-Cementon, for many years, serving as Past President and was a life member. She served as Secretary on the Cement Belt Fair Association Committee for years, She was past Secretary for the Alliance Fire Co., Northampton, Life member of the Petersville Rod & Gun Club, Life member and former bowler of the American Club, Coplay, PA; member of the Fullerton Fire Co. ladies auxiliary, and member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Bath, PA.

Surviving are daughters, Penny I. wife of David Farkas of Bath, PA, Denise L. wife of Stewart Wachter of Seaford, DE and Tina A. Kohler and companion Billy Schlicher of Catasauqua, PA, brother, Curtis K. Williams and wife Janice of Walnutport, PA; Seven Grandchildren; Richard, Carrie, Erika, Alek, Katrina, Nicholas, and Dylan, Four Great-Grandchildren; Tyla, Kyan, Keegan, and Kase. She was predeceased by her son, Richard R. Kohler in 2003, and a grandson Tyler Kohler in 2004.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday November 11, 2021at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067, with the Rev. David R. Schnaars officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 and Thurs, 11/11/2021 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Kreidersville, PA. It was Brenda's wishes that her friends and family wear bright, vibrant colors to her services if you are able to do so.
