Brenda Grace Missmer

Brenda Grace Missmer, 71 of Walnutport, PA died on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp., PA. Born June 7, 1946 in Danielsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard George and LaRue Betty (Vogel) George. She was the loving wife of Claude Missmer for 37 years. Brenda was last employed as a clerk for Cigna Insurance Co., Bethlehem, PA. for 2 years retiring in 2000. Prior to she worked for Keystone Foods., Easton, PA. as a packager for 3 years. Brenda was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, Allentown where she was instrumental in organizing and ministering to shut ins and hospitalized congregational members.

Survivors include her husband, Claude; daughter, Ronica Bosga of Klecknersville, PA; step-son, Bruce Todd Missmer and his wife Cathy of Allentown, PA; brothers, Dwight F. George and wife Chun Ling of Anniston, AL and Keith H. George of Frackville, PA; sisters, Donna L. Nonnemacher of Allentown, PA and Lynn M. wife of John Farkas, III of Coplay, PA; grandsons, Anthony and Nicholas Bosga and Jesse Shellock, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kevin Shellock.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
