Brian T. Frey, 65, of Hamilton Street, Bowmanstown, died peacefully late Monday afternoon, May 18, 2026, at Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill, Pottsville, Schuylkill County. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Snyder) Frey since Nov 20, 1982. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Horace and Arleta (Bierman) Frey.
Brian was employed as parts manager for Hazleton Honda. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for Krause Dodge, Schnecksville; Lehighton Kia; and Brodheadsville Chevrolet. Brian was a member of the former Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bowmanstown, and member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Big Creek, Beltzville. He was a 1978 graduate of the Lehighton High School. An avid sports enthusiast, he had coached both youth soccer at Towamensing Twp, and youth baseball, Bowmanstown. For many years, he played slow pitch softball for Zimmerman's Team in Andreas, East Penn Twp, and West Penn Twp. Brian was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, Phila Phillies Fan, Penn State Fan, and he enjoyed NASCAR.
Survivors: wife. daughter, Chelsea A. Frey of Bowmanstown. son, Brandon T. and wife Anika of Lehighton. grandchildren, Gemma, Ryker, Alaina, and Cassidy. great grandchild, Wrenley. several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 infant sisters.
