Brian D. Meck, 61 of Northampton, PA. died Monday, February 27, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg
Campus, Bethlehem, PA after a lengthy battle with his illness. Born April 19, 1955 in Allentown, PA, he was the son
of the late Donald D. and Joan A. (Litzenberger) Meck. He was the husband of Sharon R. (Jacobs) Meck, with whom
he shared 14 years of marriage this past November 25, 2016.
Brian was last employed as a HVAC service technician with Steamfitters Local Union #420, Philadelphia, PA, for 16
years before retiring in 2009. He was an avid enthusiast of motorcycles and Hot Rods, and also fond of the Boxer
breed of dogs. He served his country as a SP4 in the Army from 1976 until 1980.
Surviving along with his wife Sharon are; 2 step-sons; Joey Marx of Greenlane, PA. and Tyler Marx of Northampton,
PA; sister, Sheila wife of Robert Snyder of Catasauqua, PA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday March 3, 2017at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington
Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM prior to the service. Interment
with military honors will be held at 11:30am Saturday March 4, 2017 at Skyview Memorial Park, Tamaqua, PA.
Contributions: May be made in his memory to the Carbon County K9 Shelter, 63 Broad St. Nesquehoning, PA.
