Brian J Schlener, Sr.

Brian J. Schlener, Sr., "Pappy", "Gigger", 57 of Coplay, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp., PA. Born October 2, 1960 in Fountain Hill, PA; he was the son of the late Robert J. Schlener, Jr. and Irene E. (Bakos) Schlener. He was employed by Lehigh Valley Coca- Cola Co. for 35 years. Brian was a life member of the Fullerton Fire Co. and the American Club of Coplay. He played with many bands in the Lehigh Valley including The Main Attraction for 32 years and Chelsae Lyn Meyer Band for 3 years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to his camper. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors: Survivors include his companion of 19 years, Barbara A. Yurasits of Coplay; son, Brian J. Schlener, Jr., daughter, Janell Bowser, step- son, Todd M. Yurasits and his wife Bethany of Macungie; brothers, Robert J. Schlener, III of CA and Thomas L. Schlener of Northampton, sisters, Donna M. Peters of Walnutport and Denise I. Laubach of Kunkletown; grandduaghters, Jasmine Evanetz, Alexis Bowser, and Olivia Yurasits; many nieces and nephews.

Services: A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc. located at 2119 Washington Ave.
