Brigitte A. Naratil

Brigitte "Bird" A. Naratil , 67, of Mill Road, Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Twp., PA, died peacefully late Saturday evening, September 20, 2025, in her home. She was the wife of Joseph T. Naratil since February 1, 1985. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Bruce A. and June E. (Serfass) Fields.

Brigitte was employed as a CNA for Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, for over 26 years.  Previously, she worked in the same capacity for Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.  She was a member and volunteer at St. John's United Church of Christ, Palmerton.  A 1976 graduate of Palmerton High School, Brigitte loved her job, friends, fitness, nature, and the USA.  She was awarded The Friends of Nursing Service Star, Voted #1 CNA for State of PA, and the Spirit of Hospice Award.  She deeply cared for and had much pride in her work.  The differences she made for the thousands of patients and their families, in their time of need, will never be measured here on earth.

Survivors: Husband.  Son, Theodore M. and wife Vanessa of Aquashicola.  Sister, Sharon Fields of Best Station.  Many friends, and her faithful companion "Bobo".
