Bruce W. Bisbing , 92, of 9th Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Saturday evening, May 29, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Mary A. (Morgans) Bisbing since September 22, 1956. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Gaius and Pauline (Drumbore) Bisbing.
Bruce was employed as a supervisor by the former Interstate Dress Carriers, later, New England Motor Freight Co., Lehighton, for many years. He also worked for many years as the owner/operator of Bisbing Gun Shop and Gunsmith, Lehighton. A 1946 graduate of the Lehighton High School, he later served as a 2LT with the PA ARNG, Lehighton Barracks, Korea Era. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a former PA Deputy Game Warden, and member of Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club. Over the years he enjoyed collecting, especially WWII relics.
Survivors: Wife. Daughter, Paula LeMaster of Clearwater, KS, Diana Rodriguez of Aptos, CA, and Gail Ow of Scotts Valley, CA. Son, Bruce and wife Michelle Bisbing of Palmerton. 8 grandchildren. 20 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Karl.
Services: Memorial Services with Military Honors, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Mahoning Valley Ambulance Building, 902 Mill Road, Lehighton, PA 18235. Private Interment.
