Bruce M. Hill , 90 of Whitehall, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton, PA. Born August 16,1935 in London, England, he was the son of the late James Hill and the late Margaret (Drake) Hill. He was the husband of M. Julie (Holdaway) Hill with whom he shared 59 years of marriage this September 10, 2025.

The first house Bruce and Julie shared was a work in progress.  Bruce renovated the house single handedly, inside and out.  From fitting a new kitchen to built-in cabinetry and everything in between.  He made a wonderful go kart from an old pram that was a favorite.  He made a folding train table to make the best use of space in Douglas' small bedroom.  He continued creating with his hands his entire life, most recently making Christmas decorations for all his family.

Bruce saw an opportunity to relocate to the USA and jumped at the chance, relocating in 1980 to Whitehall, PA, to work for Air Products. Bruce continued working at Air Products as a Mechanical Engineer for over 50 years before retiring in 2005. Bruce's career included serving the company both stateside and in England throughout the years. During his career he traveled extensively to China and Japan.  His wife Julie had the opportunity to go on some of these adventures and had wonderful tales to tell when they returned.

Bruce's love of the game of Rugby, was evident.  He played for the Saracens Rugby club and captained the team for Cheshunt Rugby Club.  Once he stopped playing, he enjoyed coaching the Allentown Blues and the Muhlenberg College Girls Rugby team. He also helped the game grow by refereeing for years. Bruce also enjoyed golfing and played every chance he had after his rugby playing days ended.  His golfing buddies remained his friends for life.

As a devoted husband and family man, he suffered through many pets.  White rabbits, gerbils that escaped all the time, a hamster, a tortoise, a cat Boots who he hated, but loved him.  His dogs Barney and Seamus, Copper, Chester and Tucker, and lastly Murray who misses his couch snoozing friend.

Surviving along with his wife Julie are son, Douglas Hill and wife Dana of Bethesda, MD, daughters, Wendy Kemmerer and spouse Keith Miller of Bath, PA and Jennifer Kenson wife of Brian of Riverton, NJ, brother, James Hill and wife Lynn of Vancouver, B.C.; 5-grandchildren; Emily, Elsie, Angus, Parker, and Miranda.
