Bruce C. Phillips

Bruce C. Philllips, 88 of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born November 2, 1933 in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth (Hummel) Phillips. He and his wife Mary Lou (Houser) Philllips were married on May 21, 1955.

He worked for Verizon, retiring as a supervisor after thirty-three years. Bruce honorably served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Karen P. wife of Chris Makovsky of Walnutport, and Dianne L. Phillips of Catasauqua, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Becker.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
