Bruce B. Samuels

Bruce B. Samuels, 84, of Coplay, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at Phoebe Home in Allentown. Born May 4, 1938 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Claud and Marguerite (Beck) Samuels. He and his wife Janet L. (Lentz) Samuels were married on February 20, 1960.

Bruce was the owner and operator of Brita Carpets, Bethlehem, for many years and then worked for Reenie-Rich, Allentown, before retiring. He also honorably served in the US Air Force.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Scott B. and wife Alice Samuels, and David B. and wife Rita Samuels, both of Allentown, brother, Joel and wife Linda Samuels, of Palo Alto, IL, sister, Pamela G. Samuels of Bethlehem, grandchildren; Craig Samuels, Felicia wife of Sean McGonigle, and Kaitlin Samuels, and great-granddaughter, Saoirse. He was predeceased by brothers, Emory, William, Charles, Terry, Paul, and Christopher Samuels, and sisters, Elaine Murdock, Dolores Lienhard, and Nanette Kuhns.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
