Bruce S. Schleicher, 34, of Carbon Street, Lehighton, died suddenly early Friday morning, March 11, 2016, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Lehighton Campus. He was the husband of Amanda L. (Johnston) Schleicher since September 29, 2007. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of David C. Schleicher of Ashfield, and Mrs. Donna E. (Haydt) Schleicher-Fredericks of Union Hill.
Bruce was employed as a laborer for J & R Slaw Concrete, Inc., W. Bowmans. He attended St. John''s Evangelical Lutherean Church of Mahoning, and had participated in the PA National Guard, Hometown. He enjoyed being a volunteer for LABC Football.
Survivors: wife, daughters, Chloe, and Cayda. Sons, Gavyn, and Garyt. Sisters, Karen wife of Thomas Stein of FL; Michelle Fredericks of Lehighton; Melissa Fredericks-Bryfogle, and Megan Fredericks, both of Palmerton. Brother, Michael and wife Erica Fredericks of Topton, Berks County. Maternal grandmother, Mrs. Irene (Fritzinger) Haydt of Union Hill. Parents in law, Jan and Crystal (Whiteman) Kneas, Paul Johnston and companion Melissa Blocker, all of Lehighton. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services: Noon Wednesday, Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Call, 10:00am-noon Wednesday in funeral home. Interment, St. Matthews Lutheran Cemetery, Skyline Drive, Franklin Twp.
