Parts, Nazareth for 17 years. He was a 1965 graduate of Nazareth High School and after graduation enlisted in the

Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the East Lawn Social Club, Stockertown Rod and Gun Club and the
Jacobsburg Historical Society. He was previously active with the Visions of Eagles, Nazareth. He was of the
Lutheran faith.
Bruce was a life long resident of Nazareth and proud of its history and often worked in support of the community. He
was an avid fan of the Nazareth High School sports programs. Bruce loved to take long walks in Jacobsburg Park.
He enjoyed fishing, block shoots and time spent with family and friends. He took great pride in his home and enjoyed
cooking and entertaining.
In addition to his wife, Carol he is survived by his sister, Patricia A. Slutter of Stroudsburg, brothers and sisters in law
Nancy Kapanka, Dennis Magditch, Kate Magditch, Eileen Sposili, Steve Magditch and their spouses, Bruce had
many nieces and nephews in whom he always took an interest. He was proud of their accomplishments, but none
more so than his niece Shalyn Magditch, whom he treated like a daughter and she looked to him as you would a
father.
He played acoustic guitar and had a beautiful singing voice, performing throughout the Lehigh Valley, Poconos,
Bucks County and New Jersey for over 40 years. To pay tribute to Bruce is a big job, as he was a wonderful man who
always made people laugh. He always knew how to tell a story and no one had a sense of humor like him. He
brought life to a room and united people who did not even know each other. He will be dearly missed by all who
knew him.
"But music was his life, it was not his livelihood, and it made him feel so happy and it made him feel so good. And he
sang from his heart and he sang from his soul. He did not know how well he sang, it just made him whole."
According to his wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
