Burt R. Schutt

Burt R. Schutt , 53 of Northampton, PA, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Born February 14, 1970 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and the late Patricia A. (Laubach) Schutt.

Burt was a home based Registered Nurse, employed by U.S. Dept. of Veteran Affairs, Wilkes-Barre, PA serving the area Veterans for the past 3 years. Prior to, he worked for Maximum Home Healthcare, Whitehall, PA for 25 years. In his spare time, he was an avid Poker and Billiards player and enjoyed playing golf, he also enjoyed spending time with members at the V.F.W. and social clubs.

He is survived by sons, Theodore and companion Gwynn, Benjamin, and their mother Andrea, all of FL, brothers, Patrick (Jenn) of Whitehall, PA, John (Tina) of Gettysburg, PA and Thomas (Eleanor) of Mechanicsburg, PA, sister, Cathy Gigon(John) of Jacksonville, FL. along with many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with Chaplain Christian Bennett officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
