Byron C. Craig, Jr., 77, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died on Friday, May 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family and friends, at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem.  He was the loving husband of 45 years, to the late Sandra L. (Schoch) Craig, who passed in 2010. Born in Kunkletown, he was the son of the late Byron C. Craig, Sr., and the late Alma (Christman) Craig.

He was employed by Blue Ridge Pressure Casting Company as a die caster and machinist.  He served his country with honor in the Army, Vietnam, achieving the rank of SP4.  Byron enjoyed gathering Indian artifacts, while using his metal detector, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a proficient marksman at Beaver Run, and liked working for auto mechanics.

Survivors: Daughters, Sherry L. wife of Ted Snyder of Lehighton, Vickey L. Yanoski of Sugarloaf, and Cindy L. wife of Troy Frey of Lehighton.  Brothers, Roy & Anna Craig of NJ, and Thomas & Debbie Craig of Little Gap.  Sisters, Joan Keiser of Walnut Cove, NC, and Marlene Shupp of Palmerton.  4 grandchildren, Harold, Rachel, Troy Jr., and Trent.  2 Great-grandchildren, Isabella, and Gracie.  Nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Barry Craig.

Services: A Celebration of Life and gathering of Family and Friends, with Military Honors, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Byron's home. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton, PA.  Online Condolences may be left for his family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
