C. Edward Shiffert

C. Edward Shiffert, 78 of Warren Center, Pennsylvania formerly of Slatington, died on Monday, January 15, 2018, at Guthrie Sayre Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. Born December 26, 1939 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ernest Shiffert and the late Dorothy (Scheffler) Remaly.
He was a self -employed contractor for over thirty years before retiring in 2000. He was a former member of the Egypt United Church of Christ as well as the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by son, Dean Shiffert and hiis wife Lisa of Jacksonville, NC, daughter, Jennifer wife of Fred Albert of Slatington, sisters, Regina Young of Bethlehem, and Margaret Shiffert of Burke, VA, companion Gert Rockefeller, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
