Calvin A. Arner, Jr.

Calvin A. Arner, Jr. , 90, Long Lane Road, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, died peacefully late Monday evening, May 29, 2023, at The Palmerton Personal Care Home.  He was the husband of the late Elsie M. (Anthony) Arner who passed in 2009.  Born in Mahoning Township, he was a son of the late Calvin A., Sr. and Pearl A. (Rex) Arner.

Calvin was employed as a line worker for Mack Trucks Corp., Allentown.  He attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Indianland.  A 32nd Degree Master Mason, he was a member of Jordan-Martin Lodge #673 F. and A.M., Allentown, and a member of Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown, and of the Rajah Shrine, Blandon.  Calvin was an Air Force Veteran of Korea, achieving the rank of A/2c.

Survivors: Daughters, Karen A. Knappenberger and fiance David Cooney of Kunkletown, and Janet M. Green and companion Gary Wentz of Walnutport.  Nieces and nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
