Carl E. Brown, Sr.

Carl Elwood Brown, Sr., 89, of Marshall, Arkansas, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died on February 25, 2018, at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Arkansas.  He was the husband of Jane C. Brown, and a son of he late Charles James Brown, Sr., and Mildred (Schlough) Brown.

Carl served his country honorably in the Army, Korea, achieving the rank of CPL(T).  He enjoyed bowling and participated in several local leagues, and, he liked watching all kinds of sports on television, particularly baseball and football.  Carl enjoyed time spent with his wife, 10 children, and family.

Carl worked as a lineman for the New Jersey Power and Light Company, a job he very much liked, and where he made many friends.

Services: 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania 18071.  Officiating will be the Rev. Martin E. Nuscher.
