Carl C. Edwards

Carl C. Edwards, 76 of Northampton-Allen Twsp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his residence. Carl was born February 21, 1945 in Lake Ariel, PA, the son of the late Gerald W. Edwards and the late Ida E. (Chapman) Edwards. He was the husband of the late Judith Kay (Jeppesen) Edwards who passed away in December 2020.

Carl was a Computer Consultant / Technician for the past 54 years with his last employment with Great West Casualty Company of S. Sioux City, Nebraska. He was a long time member of Northampton Assembly of God, Northampton, PA, serving as Deacon for 40 years, Adult Sunday School Leader, and serving on many committees throughout his years. He served as a former member of the Board of Allen Twsp. Supervisors, Carl was an avid Phillies baseball fan since 1957, member of the Sons of the Confederate J.E.B. Stuart camp # 1602, he enjoyed politics, and was active in many political facets and campaigns, even serving as Assistant Delegate for the Republican National Convention in 2000.

Surviving are son, Daniel G. Edwards of Northampton, PA; 5 Grandchildren a niece and a nephew.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at Northampton Assembly of God, 3449 Cherryville Road, Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the church prior to the service. Interment will be in Avoy Cemetery, Lake Ariel, PA.
