Carla D. DeLong, 89 of Allentown, PA formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Devon House Assisted Living in Allentown, PA. Born July 1, 1929 in Alburtis, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Moser) Reinert. She was the wife of the late Elmer C. DeLong.
Carla worked as a waitress for various Restaurants/ Diners throughout the greater Lehigh Valley for over 20 years before retiring in 1983. She was a Charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, PA.
She is survived by a daughter, Judith A., wife of Rudy Moyer of Schnecksville, PA sons, David DeLong and wife Jean and Ted DeLong and wife Barbara both of Bethlehem, PA, sister, Mary Ann Kritsky of Jacksonville, FL. 4 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Charles Reinert and sister, Pauline Letukas.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 with a calling hour from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice C/O the funeral home.
