Carla A. Dorward

Carla A. (Keiser) Dorward , 52, of Levans Road, Allentown, North Whitehall Township, died peacefully Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, after succumbing to the Covid-19 Virus.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of Dennis R. and wife Phyllis (Poyer) Keiser of Lehighton, and Mrs. Sharon (Remaley) Keiser of Lehighton.

Carla was employed in the warehouse/shipping department of Coca-Cola Corp., Allentown, and was a 1987 graduate of the Lehighton High School.  She put her daughters before everything else.  Carla's role as a mother was her favorite job, and she loved being called "Nina" by her grandchildren.  She entertained everyone with her unique sense of humor which made her easy to befriend.  Carla would light up any room with her smile and laugh.  She was a rebel who loved Rob Zombie, tattoos, sharks, and cheesy sci-fi movies.

Survivors: Parents.  Stepmother.  Daughters, Caila A. wife of Jason Bower of Berwick, Sarah J. Dorward & fiance Daniel Kiefer of Allentown, and Trisha E. wife of Nolan Linaberry of Palmerton.  3 grandchildren, Jayden, Connor, and Crew. Sisters, Lisa wife of Will Roberts of VA, Barbara Keiser of Lehighton.  Brothers, Daniel of Bowmanstown, and David "Cooter" and wife Sara of Lehighton.  She was predeceased by daughter, Kira L. Dorward in 2020.
