Carlos Santos, Sr., 95, of 5th Street, Allentown, died peacefully Thursday evening, Feb 17, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus, following the loving care by his granddaughter, Jolene. He was the husband of the late Dolores R. (Miller) Santos who passed in 2004. Born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Tito and Clotide (Viruet) Santos.
Carlos was employed as a general laborer by A & B Meats Co., Allentown, for many years, an avid baseball enthusiast, he enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies, and was a great Chuck Norris Fan.
Survivors: daughters, Linda Maisonet (Guillermo), Lisa Bortz, Sandra DeJesus (David), all of Allentown, Lillian Martin (Daniel) of New Ringgold, Carla Stroh of Whitehall, Gloria Knappenberger (Roger) of Emmaus. son, Carlos, Jr. of Allentown. 18 grandchildren. 40 great grandchildren. sister, Gloria Figueroa of Jayuaya, Puerto Rico. brother, Jose of Jayuaya, Puerto Rico. numerous nieces and nephews.
