Carol J. Arnold

Carol J. Arnold , 84 of Northampton, PA passed away on April 3, 2024, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. Born May 4, 1939 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Salter and the late Mary (Moyer) Salter. She was the wife of the late Jay Arnold, with whom she spent 50 years of loving marriage with until his passing in 2011.

Carol was a graduate of Northampton Area High School, class of 1957. After graduating she starting work at Lehigh Portland Cement, as a book keeper. She then went on to work for Agere for 25 years as a layout operator, taking a few years off to be a home maker when she had her daughters. In Carol's free time, she enjoyed spending time with her sisters, especially when they would quilt together. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Coplay, and served on their Fellowship Committee, organizing many different events.

Survivors : daughters, Kristen Remaley and husband Timothy of Allentown, PA and Kimberly Bourger and husband Kenneth of Northampton, PA, grandsons Brayden and Dylan Bourger, both of Northampton, PA, sisters, Sandra Vandergrift of Northampton, Joan Wright of Coplay, Linda Edelman (Dennis) of Northampton, brother, Rick Salter (Marianne) of Northampton. She was predeceased by brother Dale Salter.

Services: The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:30PM to 8:00PM on Monday, April 8, 2024, and 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA, 18067.  Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA.
