Carol J. Samuels

Carol J. (Decker) Samuels, 87, of Cashew Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp, died peacefully Wednesday morning September 23, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Samuels who passed in 2009. Born in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Decker and the late Rachel (States) Decker.

Carol was employed as a secretary by the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Allentown for over 30 years. Previously, she worked in the same capacity for Blue Valley Welding Co., Allentown. She was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville. A 1957 graduate of the Huntingdon High School, she later continued her education and graduating from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL. Carol enjoyed volunteering and helped many through the Cancer Connection Program at church. She enjoyed attending church women's conferences and participating in the quilting club.

Survivors: sons, Gregg K. and wife Cindy of Fogelsville, Chad J. and wife Deborah of Easton. 3 grandchildren, Alex, Connor, and Katerina. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Brittany.

Services: 11:00AM Saturday, September 26, 2026, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 10-11:00AM Saturday in funeral home. Interment, Indianland Cemetery, Almond Road, Lehigh Twp.
