Carolyn V. Kuntzman

Carolyn V. (Machemer) Kuntzman ,94, formerly of Palmerton and Carbondale, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2022, at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, PA. She was the wife of the late Sterling W. Kuntzman Sr. who passed in 1999.  Born in Reading, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Edna E. (Wise) Machemer.

Carolyn was employed by the former Scotty's Fashions Company, Little Gap, as a floor lady and supervisor for over 30 years, retiring in 1986.

Survivors: Daughter, Linda A. Turano of Carbondale.  Son, Sterling W. Kuntzman, Jr. of Mexico, NY.  3 grandchildren. 8 great-grandchildren. 6 great-great-grandchildren.  Sister, Edna Luhas of Lahaska.  Brother, Russell Machemer of Reading.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Elizabeth Levan, and brothers, Robert, Jack, Henry, James, Dale, Thomas, and Bruce.
