Charles M. "Charley" Achenbach

Charles M. "Charley" Achenbach, 68 of Bethlehem passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Born June 25, 1952 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lewis R. and Lottie B. (Baney) Achenbach.

He was a professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, for 35 years before retiring in 2014.

Charles was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem, PA. were he sang on the church choir and was a former member of the Board of Elders. Charley also had his Doctorate in Dentistry and enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his daughter, Kay L. Achenbach wife of Gordon Cameron of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, United Kingdom, brothers, Jesse C. Achenbach and wife Linda of Daniel Island, SC and L. Robert Achenbach and wife Joyce of Pottsville, PA and a granddaughter, Catriona C. Cameron.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a 2:00 PM memorial service, all on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Central Moravian Church, Main Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
