Charles "Pete" J. Lentine, 62, of Palmerton, PA, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at his residence. Born October 8, 1963 in Williamstown, NJ., he was the son of the late Charles P. Lentine and the late Helen (Feldman) Lentine. Pete was the husband of Susan (Keeler) Hollender, with whom he spent he spent 35 years of life with.
After graduating high school, Pete went to work for Air Products as a chemical technician for 19 years. He decided to go back to school and completed his Bachelors in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College. Pete was then employed by Agere Inc as a chemist for 14 years, and later, Linde Chemical Company for 6 years, before retiring in 2025. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking. Pete was an avid and accomplished shooter, as he won the New Jersey State Pistol Shooting Championship. Pete was a member of the NRA, and a member of Mensa, as well as having been an EMT.
Survivors: Wife. Uncle, Richard Lentine and wife Billy Ann. Stepson, Jason Hollender, and stepdaughter, Shannon Hollender. He was predeceased by sister, Melissa Lentine.
