Charles T. Resh

Charles "Charlie" T. Resh, 78, of Wertman Road, Fogelsville, Lowhill Twp, died peacefully early Saturday morning, May 23, 2026, in his home. He was the husband of Carol A. (White) Resh since June 24, 1972. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Thomas D. and Rose (Wonderly) Resh.

Charlie was employed as a switchman for Verizon, Kuhnsville, over 30 years retiring in 2001. He was a member Morganland United Church of Christ, Orefield, where he formerly served on church consistory. A 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner, he was a member of Jordan-Martin Lodge F. and A.M., the Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown, and the Rajah Shrine, Reading. Charlie was a 1965 graduate of the former Whitehall-Coplay High School, then serving in the Navy, South Vietnam Campaign, achieving rank of ATR3. He was also a member the the VFW Breinigsville Post, and the American Legion, Topton Post.

Survivors: Wife. son, Matthew E. Richmond, IL. grandchildren, Calen, Keller, and Kevin. several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Capt. Mark T. Resh in 2007, sisters, Mildred McKeeby, Marian Peifly, and brothers, Daniel and David.
