Charles G. Sterling

Charles G. Sterling , 92, of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, at the VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Bethlehem.  Born August 1, 1928, in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Violet (Laver) Sterling.  He and his wife Anna Marie (Schoenberger) Sterling were married on June 26, 1954.

Charles worked as a Chain Man for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Bethlehem, for 36 years before retiring in 1991.  He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Thomas O. Sterling of Coaldale.  Daughter, Laurie A. wife of Russell Meckes of Slatington.  Brother, Floyd Sterling.  Seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by son, Charles O. Sterling, and daughter, Trudy L. Strohl.
