Charles E. Suter

Charles E. Suter , 90 of Bangor, PA. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton, PA. Born October 12, 1933 in L. Nazareth Twsp., PA, he was the son of the late George Suter, Sr. and the late Beatrice (Engler) Suter. He was the husband of Emma L. (Rohn) Suter with whom he shared 49 years of marriage last July 15, 2023.

Charles was last employed by Victaulic Corp., Easton, PA as an Engineering Lab Technician for 18 years  before retiring in 1995. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Charles was a former member and bowler with the Mixed League Bowlers at  Blue Valley Bowling in Wind Gap, PA, a former Golfer with the Nazareth Community Golf League, and a supporter and achieved Eagle Scout Rank with Troop #32 in Nazareth, PA. Charles also served his country as an Airman 1st Class in the United States AirForce during peacetime.

Surviving along with his wife Emma are son, Dennis and daughter Donna, sister, Ilene wife of Ricardo Coroniti of King Of Prussia, PA., step-son Wayne Getz and wife Lianne of Sacramento, CA, Step-daughters; Judy Barron of Nazareth, PA, Karen Buskirk of Bangor, PA, Susan  wife of Alan Hartranft of FL., Linda wife of Joseph Capone of Pen Argyl, PA. 9 step-grandchildren along with many step-great and step-great-great grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday April 12, 2024 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA 18064 with the Rev. Scott A. Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services.  Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Nazareth, PA.
