Charles F. Tepes

Charles F. "Carley" Tepes, 69 of Lehigh Twsp.- Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 9, 2021. Born July 26, 1951 in Coplay, PA, he was the son of the late Louis Tepes, Sr. and the late Margaret (Stranzl) Tepes. He was the husband of Marie C. (Miller) Tepes with whom he shared 48 years of marriage last September 23, 2020.

Charles was a graduate of Whitehall High School who was last employed as a carpenter for Mellon Certified Restoration, Allentown, Pa for 10 years until retiring in 2016. Prior to he worked in the same capacity for Tepes Construction, Northampton for 30 years. Charles was a longtime member of the Gypsie Sportsmen Motorcycle Club, Lehigh Valley, PA, and a life time social member of the Reading Motorcycle Club. Charlie loved motorcycle riding, and was always ready to take the next road trip on the bike with his favorite passenger Marie. He served his country as a Private 2nd Class in the Army National Guard during peacetime.

Surviving along with his wife Marie are brother, Louis J. Tepes, Jr. and wife Bernice of Northampton, PA; 2 grandchildren; Elizabeth and Gabriel Tepes and many nephews and nieces. He was recently predeceased by his son Joel J. in January 2021, and previously by a brother Joseph.

Future celebration of life services to be announced. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and services.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made in his memory, to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the
funeral home.
