Cheryll L. Weidman

Cheryll L. (Borger) Weidman , 75, of Deer Trail, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Twp., formerly of Lehighton, PA, died late Sunday evening, May 21, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of Charles W. Weidman since June 2, 1990.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Eck) Borger-Ahner.

Cheryll was employed as a trimmer and in the finishing dept. of the former Hofford's Mill, Weissport, and the former Barson and Bishop Co., Lehighton.  She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield, and was a 1965 graduate of the Lehighton High School.  Cheryll enjoyed her word search puzzles, reading, crafts, especially creating her sun catchers.  She enjoyed collecting Hummels, all types of butterfly items, cooking, baking, camping, ice cream, and chocolate.

Survivors: Husband.  Son, Paul Williams of Scranton.  Stepdaughter, Anita Weidman of Drums.  3 grandchildren.  3 step-grandchildren.  3 great-grandchildren.  Sister, Karla Neff of Ashfield.  Brothers, Kevin and wife Patricia Borger of Lehighton, and Gary Borger of Ashfield.  Nieces and nephews.  Beloved cat, Willow.  She was predeceased by daughters, Tammy Williams in 2013, Lisa Williams in 2021, and granddaughter, Heather Rex.
