Chris B. Fye

Chris B. Fye , 67, of Walnutport, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, died peacefully early Tuesday morning, Feb 27, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital In Patient Hospice Unit, Allentown, PA. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Russell H.P., Sr. and Grace R. (Edwards) Fye.

Chris was employed as a machinist for W.L. Gore and Assoc, Newark, DE for 19 years. Later, after returning to PA, he worked in the firearm department of Cabela's Sporting Goods, Hamburg, PA. Chris attended the Northern Lehigh Bible Fellowship Church, Walnutport. A 1975 graduate of Christiana High School, Newark, DE, Delcastle Technical High School Apprentice Machinist. Chris was member and volunteer Firefighter with the Christiana Fire Co. Engine#12. An avid gun enthusiast, Chris was a member and licensed NRA Range Instructor who competed in black powder and long distance precision shooting. He was a member of the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, and the Slatington Skeet Club, Washington Twp. He enjoyed Civil War Reenactments, collectables, teaching fly fishing and tying.

Survivors: Survivors: brother David G and wife Susan of DE, nieces Laura, and Samantha, nephew Russell H.P. III, many friends and his beloved dog Doc.
