Christine Marie (Korpics) Buck
, 85, formerly of Palmerton, Newtown, Pennsylvania, and North Port, Florida, became one of our greatest guardian angels on June 23, 2017, with her loving daughters and friend by her side.
Christine was born July 14, 1931, in Palmerton, PA, to John and Julia Korpics of Palmerton. She graduated from Palmerton High School in 1949. Christine is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Buck, daughter Judy Buck, brothers Vincent, John, and Charles Korpics, as well as sister, Virginia Chomko.
Christine and Richard moved to Fairless Hills, PA, in 1951, moving to Newtown, PA in 1966, and arriving in their final destination of North Port, Florida in 1988. They made a very happy life in Florida with many wonderful friends.
Christine retired as a manager for ETS in Newtown. She was a member of the Women's Moose in Venice, Florida, since 2012. She also enjoyed Karaoke where she loved to dance and talk with her friends. She loved reading, listening to music, traveling with her friends, and enjoyed the Tampa Bay Rays baseball games. Christine will be profoundly missed by her daughters Debra and husband Bryan Edwards of Blakeslee, Donna and husband Tom Mullen of Holland, PA. Seven beautiful grandchildren, Keith and husband Becky Edwards, Scott Edwards, Danielle Mullen, Shane Edwards, Thom Mullen, Nickolas Edwards and Patrick Mullen. She was blessed with 2 precious great-grandchildren, Emily Edwards and Matthew Edwards. And her special friend, Robert Cannova.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the church. Interment will be at the Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton. Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
