Christine D. Remaly

Christine D. Remaly, 93 of Macungie, PA, formerly of Northampton, PA passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Complete Care at Lehigh Center in Macungie, PA. Born August 24,1931 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alex Malanitch and the late Catherine (McCloskey) Malanitch. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Remaly who passed away in December 2013.

In her early years she worked for the former Coplay Cigar Co and the former Clyde Shirt Company, Northampton, PA as a machine operator for several years, before starting her family. In her spare time, Christine enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching TV.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane C. wife of Charles Muffley of Bath, PA and Linda A. wife of Charles Heffintrayer of Northampton, PA, 6 grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Edward Remaly, Jr. in 2014, sisters, Catherine, Mary, Victoria, and brother, Alex.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday December 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Second Street Northampton, PA 18067 with the Deacon Michael Doncsecz officiating. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
