Christine A. Vliet

Christine A. Vliet, 68 of East Allen Township, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born November 22, 1952 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Regina) Farina, Sr.  She and her husband Dale A. Vliet were married on October 4, 1975 and she was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She worked as an administrative assistant for Air Products, Trexlertown for 29 years before retiring. She was a member of Dryland UCC, Newburg, where she was also was the secretary. Prior to that, she was a secretary at St. Peter's UCC, where she was also a member of the consistory. Christine graduated from Easton High School in 1970.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sarah V. Myers and husband Steve of Haymarket, VA, son, Spencer D. Vliet and wife Jackie Lee of Boise, ID, granddaughters, Nina and Willow Myers, brother, Thomas Farina, Jr. of Arlington, TX, sister, RoseAnn LaBar of Nazareth.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Friday, January 8, 2021,at the Dryland United Church of Christ 4415 Newburg Road, Nazareth, Pennsylvania.  Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dryland UCC in care of the Schisler Funeral Home 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
