Christopher J. George

Christopher J. George , 42, of Lehighton, PA, died on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Lehighton Campus, after a year-long battle with progressive cancer.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Ron J. George, and Mrs. Patti Jo (Smiley) Boyd and husband, Stephen.  He was the husband of Trisha A. (Shipwash) George.

He was a past member of the former Crossroad Community Church in Lehighton.  Christopher was an avid hunter and fisherman.  For the past several years he was employed as a repair/maintenance and equipment person at Rebs Pallet Company, Lehighton.

Survivors: Wife.  Mother.  Daughters, Ashton E. George, and Jaclynn F. George, all of Lehighton.  Son, Joshua J. George and fiancee Abigail Esterly, of Lehighton.  Brother, Nick A. George, Clearwater FL.  Paternal grandparents, Elbert and Josie George, Palmerton.  Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Jim and Joan Smiley.

Services: Funeral Service 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  Officiating will be Pastor Robert L.
