Clarence E. Sutliff

Clarence E. Sutliff, Jr., 79 of Whitehall, PA. went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home. Born September 15, 1940 in Cochecton, New York, he was the son of the late Clarence E. Sutliff, Sr. and the late Arvilla (Peck) Sutliff. He was the husband of BettyLou (Seeley) Sutliff with whom he shared 59 years of marriage this past February 11, 2020.

He was last employed by the former J.L. Drywall, Allentown, PA. as a painter for many years before retiring in 1988. Prior to, he drove truck for the former M.T.S. and Matlack Trucking Co.'s of Northampton for many years until their closing. He was a member of the Northampton Assembly of God, Northampton, PA. where he was instrumental in the maintenance and care for the grass and outside appearance at church.

Surviving along with his wife BettyLou are daughter, Elizabeth A. wife of Kevin Fitzgerald of Brush Prairie, WA, son, Edward A. Sutliff and companion Monika Gjonzeneli of Easton, PA, daughter, Phyllis G. Sutliff of Whitehall, PA and son, David L. Sutliff and wife Melissa of Walnutport, PA, sisters, Mrs. Arvilla Wolfe of Vancouver, WA and Mrs. Patricia McElroy of Honesdale, PA; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Clarence will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale, PA. Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067.
