Claude R. Leh, 88 of Nazareth, PA. died on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community in Nazareth. Born September 2, 1930 in Nazareth, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond H. Leh and the late Beulah M. (Correll) Leh. He was the husband of the late Geraldine A. (Reese) Leh who passed away March 4, 2014.
Claude was employed as a Sr. Project Coordinator in Line Services by Metropolitan Edison Electric Co., Easton, PA. for 35 years before retiring in April of 1991. He was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Nazareth, where he served as a past consistory member, former counting committee member, and was instrumental in starting the Preschool education program. He was a member of Whitfield Lodge #622 F. & A.M. and was their former Chaplain for several years. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and member of Lehigh consistory, Valley of Allentown. Claude served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He attended the SM Air Force Base School and completed the course A&E Mechanic. Claude also served in the Army Reserve until April 1960.

Surviving are 3 Sons, Lonnie C. Leh and wife Susan of Leesport, PA, Jerry A. Leh and wife Deborah of Rochester, NY, Gregory C. Leh of Nazareth, PA; Sister, Mrs. Shirley Kram of Nazareth, PA; 6 grandchildren; 5 greatgrandchildren. He was predeceased by sister, Pauline Knitter.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 29, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Broad & Prospect Streets, Nazareth, PA. 18064. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth and again from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the services at the Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Hope Cemetery -Hecktown, Lower Nazareth Twp., PA.
