Clement P. Breiner, Jr. , 81, of Lehighton, PA, peacefully passed on Friday, February 25, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving children that were caring for him. Born August 4, 1940 in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Clement P. and Ardella (Laughnor) Breiner. He and his wife Sandra (Berger) Breiner were married on October 21, 1961.
He worked for the Zink Company in Palmerton, and "One Eyed Jack" drove for Makovsky Brothers, and Savage Transportation before retiring. He was a lifetime member of the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, and a member of the Andreas Sporting Club. In his early years, Clem enjoyed driving race cars at the Mahoning Valley Speedway and helping his brother-in-laws, Delly and Tommy, at Mahoning Valley Speedway, and Don at Dorney Park Speedway. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR. He was often seen sitting on his front porch with his wife Cookie, and his dog Maggie, enjoying a cold Bud Light. Clem will always be remembered for his smart witty comments, and would often bring smiles and belly laughter to his family and friends.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Colleen Rubin, Cindy wife of Randy Dreher, Connie wife of Teddy Herr, Karen wife of Brian Laub, and Chrissy wife of Jared Schirer. Sons, Tim and wife Tina Breiner, and Scott Breiner and companion Jackie. Brothers, Clair, Lenny, and Leroy Breiner. Ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Smokey Berger, brothers, Charles, Richard, Norman, David, and Lester, and sisters, Eva, Lois, Stella, Irene, and Shirley.
Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service, all on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
