Concepcion La Luz

Concepcion La Luz, 77 of Northampton-Lehigh Twsp, PA formerly the Bronx, NY, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center - Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA. Born September 22, 1942 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Valentin Rodriguez and the late Lydia (Martinez) Rodriguez.She was the wife of Jose M. La Luz, Sr., together they shared 51 years of marriage this past May 22, 2019.

Concepcion was an X-Ray Technician for 33 years, employed by Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, NY, until retiring in 1995. She attended Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Allentown, PA.

Surviving along with her husband are sons, Jose V. La Luz, Jr. of Whitehall, PA and David A. La Luz of Bronx, NY, daughter, Ms. Elizabeth La Luz of Northampton, PA, brother, Valentin Rodriguez, sisters, Lydia Bauza, Nellie Garcia, Jaunita Rodriguez, and Angela Rodriguez, all of Bronx, NY and 7 grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday December 2, 2019 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
