Cynthia L. “Cindy” (Heilman) Eck, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on April 4, 1963 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Cindy was a woman whose love knew no bounds. She had a warm and welcoming heart and never hesitated to open her arms and her home to those around her. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved, accepted, and like they were part of the family.
Cindy served over 20 years at the Northampton County Magisterial Court, where she was respected for her professionalism, kindness, and commitment to her community
Above all, Cindy treasured her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert Eck, a loving mother to her son, Tyler Crum, and a cherished mother-in-law to Kassandra Crum. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to Brycen, Braxtyn, and Brynleigh, whom she adored more than life itself. Her grandchildren held a truly special place in her heart, and the love she had for them will remain a part of them forever.
Cindy is survived by her mother, Mary King and her husband, David “Skip” King; her husband, Robert Eck; her son, Tyler Crum; daughter-in-law, Kassandra Crum; and her three beloved grandchildren, Brycen, Braxtyn, and Brynleigh. She also leaves behind many loving family members and friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing her. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Heilman.
Cindy’s presence brought comfort, laughter, and love to so many people. While her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will live on through her family, the lessons she taught, the love she gave so freely, and the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“A mother holds her children’s hands for a little while, but she holds their hearts forever.”
