Cynthia L. Freeby

Cynthia L. (Everett) Freeby , 64, of 1st Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, August 12, 2021, in her home.  She was the wife of Gregory D. Freeby since September 21, 1974.  Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Maryann (Stuckley) Everett.

Cynthia was employed in the custodial/housekeeping department of Country Junction General Store, Lehighton.  Previously she worked in the same capacity for Hampton Inn, Lehighton.  She was a 1974 graduate of the Lehighton High School.  Cynthia enjoyed bingo at both the Nesquehoning Rec Center and E. Penn Sporting Club, Lehighton.  She liked to crochet, shop at flea markets, yard sales, fish, and shoot pool.

Survivors: Husband.  Daughters, Sara Freeby, Erica Everett and fiance Joseph Wilt, and Tiffany M. Freeby, all of Lehighton, and Julie wife of Christopher Brady of Gouldsboro, Wayne County.  5 grandchildren, Adrian, Keegan, Noah, Anna, and Samuel.  Brothers, James and wife Jan, and Robert and wife Carolyn, all of Palmerton, and Ricky and wife JoAnna of Jim Thorpe.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Mary A., and brothers, Tracy, and Rocky.

Services: Memorial Services, 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Call, 2:00-3:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home.  Private Interment.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
