Dama W. David, 83, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died early Sunday morning, December 18, 2016, at Eastern Comfort Assisted Living III, Inc., Slatington. She was the wife of the late Richard A. David who passed in 1995. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Harvey L. and Mary C. (Christman) Livengood.
Dama was employed as a waitress at Bert's Steakhouse, Palmerton, for 22 years, retiring in 2002. Previously she worked at the former Anderson Diner, Allentown. Dama attended the former Jerusalem Union Church, Trachsville. She was a member of the West End Volunteer Fire Company in Palmerton, and the Lehighton Eagles Club.
Survivors: Daughter, Brenda J. wife of Dean Hahn of Lower Towamensing Township. Sons, Rick R. Kidd and fiancée Sueann Senick of Kresgeville, Troy T. and wife Sharon Kidd of Lehighton. 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sister, Arlene wife of Merritt Berger of Palmerton. Brother, Leo L. and wife Betty Livengood of Berlinsville. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, in the funeral home, prior to services. Interment will be at Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville, following services.
