Daniel S. "Lippy" Focht

Daniel S. "Lippy" Focht, 53, of Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, formerly of Coplay, died suddenly early Saturday morning, January 12, 2019, in Whitehall.  He was the fiancé of Karen A. Matika, with whom he resided.  Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of William H. and Janet A. (Peters) Focht of Whitehall Manor.

Daniel was employed as a concrete contractor by PACT II Construction Co., Ringoes, NJ. Previously, he was employed by Howard Robson Contracting, Bethlehem, and Baseline Construction, Coplay.  Daniel was a 1984 graduate of the Whitehall High School.  An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and playing shuffleboard. He was a generous man with a heart of gold and gave the best hugs. He was always willing to help someone out.

Survivors: fiancé, parents, daughter, Ashlee M. Focht of Martins Creek, sisters, Cynthia, wife of Glenn Miller of Whitehall, Donna Correll of Coplay, Karen, wife of Joseph Lichman of Zionsville, brother, William A. and wife LeAnn of Whitehall, several nieces and nephews.
