Daniel A. Mckeon

Daniel A. McKeon, 79 of Hutchinson, Minnesota formerly of Bath, PA died on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Harmony River Retirement Center in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

Born November 14, 1942 in Mars, PA, he was the son of the late Francis McKeon and the late Anna (Walker) McKeon. He was the husband of the late Charlotte (Zimmerman) McKeon and the late Karen (Thompson) McKeon.

Daniel was last employed as a truck driver for Cliff-Viessman Inc., MN for 14 years before retiring in 2018. Prior to moving, he worked for Mack Trucks, Allentown, PA as a Sheet Metal Operator for over 20 years. Daniel was musically talented, skilled at playing the mandolin, guitar, pedal steel guitar, ukulele and could often be found playing in local pick up bands for years. He also loved animals, was one to pick up strays and or care for any wayward animal no matter the species.

Surviving are son, Keith W. McKeon and wife Krista of Nazareth, PA, daughter, Dawn L. wife of Mark Perl of Northampton, PA, sister, Diane Friske of Pittsburgh, PA 3 Grandchildren; Kara, Kayla, and Brandi, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Charlotte, Allan, and Davina, and a nephew Daniel McKeon.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Pat and Joe.

Public graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on April 19, 2022 at Valley View of Emmanuels Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, PA 18014. The Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his arrangements.
