Darlene C. Kunkle

Darlene C. (Clauser) Kunkle , 77, of Canal Street, Walnutport, PA, died Sunday morning April 3, 2022, in her home.  She was the wife of the late David E. Kunkle, Sr., who passed in 2018.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (Merkel) Clauser.

Darlene was employed in the quality control department of Paris Accessories Co., Walnutport, for many years.  She attended Neffs Union Church, N. Whitehall Township.  Darlene enjoyed gardening, growing her own vegetables, was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., and a 1957 graduate of the former Slatington High School.

Survivors: Daughters, Debra Guereca of Palmerton, Donna wife of Steven Owen of Berwick, Denise wife of David Reese, and Denita wife of Robert Wetzel, all of Slatington.  Son, David E., Jr. of Alaska.  8 grandchildren. 6 great-grandchildren.
