Darlene F. Pioli

Darlene F. Pioli, 62, of Danielsville, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, September 7, 2016, in her home. She was the wife of Charles V. Pioli since February 3, 1973. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late John Hermsen and Alberta (Odell) Reynolds.
Darlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who raised and supported over 20 foster children over the years. She was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cherryville. Darlene enjoyed volunteering at the ARC Friendship Dances held at the church.
Survivors: Husband, Charles. Daughters, Sandy wife of Michael Hudson of Danielsville, Lanette Garland at home. Sons, Vincent and Donna Pioli of Barto, Joseph and wife Denise Pioli of Slatington. 10 grandchildren. Sister, Brenda wife of Charles Locha of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey. Brothers, Jon Hermsen of Arkansas, Scott Hermsen of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey. Several nieces and nephews.
Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Hope Lutheran Evangelical Church, P.O. Box 1030-4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, PA 18035. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday in the church. Private Interment. Arrangements are by Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
